The adventure starts at the historic CPR Station. Virden Historical Walking Tours gives you a good background of the town and the story before the coming of the first Canadians. We go back as far as the Great Inland Sea... and the sea monsters that went with it. Tours deal with the stern-wheelers on the Assiniboine River and famous Fort La Bosse. The tour usually takes a little more than 2 hours of walking.
