Province of Manitoba Community Support Small Grant
The Manitoba Provincial Government has established the Community Support Small Grant program to continue to support non-profit and community-led organizations across the province.
The Community Support Small Grant program supports organizations in their efforts to provide opportunities for Manitobans to participate in and sustain thriving communities. Funding will focus on projects and initiatives that align with strategic priorities and create measurable outcomes. One-time funding of up to a maximum of $20,000.00 is available. Applicants must provide a minimum of 10% matching cash funding. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and one application per organization per year will be considered.

Level 1 Burning Ban
THE R.M. OF WALLACE-WOODWORTH HAS IMPLEMENTED:
LEVEL 1 BURNING BAN EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY (May 29, 2025) AND WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
LEVEL 1: PROHIBITS ALL OPEN BURNING, BONFIRES, YARD WASTE BURNING, AND RESTRICTED YARD WASTE BURNING. (SEE BY-LAW #4-2019 FOR FURTHER EXPLANATION)
Individuals who contravene this Burning Ban are subject to a penalty of $1,000.00 and are also responsible for all cost incurred by the Municipality in fire protection and suppression operations should the fire department be called to extinguish a fire.
